Sunfish Feeding

Blues have their own personnality just like all other fish, for me i had them with Warmouths,pumpkinseeds,Greens(favorite),LMB,Perch and several others including a Texas pair-- not all at the same time but this should give you a picture so i hope this helps.

I agree with others on tank size, regardless of the species, you cant have too large of a tank, i have 2 Dollars sunnies in a 75 now which are pretty small as sunfish go, and they are lovin all the room, remember they, are in lakes and ponds in nature :)

I feed mine, blood worms, mysis, white mosquito larvae, and hikari pellets.

The most commonly found sunfish is usually Bluegill, so id guess thats what you have.
 
I used to have 2 Blues, they would attack and try to eat anything I would put in the tank. I had a larger pleco (10" or so) and put him in and they picked on him at first, but then left him alone.
 
Go to Aquaculture.com there is a great site called Jonahs.com but for some reason he dosen't have stock right know but atleast check it out.
