correct, got them yesterday afternoon currently on day two, they still swim around when its dark but as soon as lights on they drop to the sand :P Also do you recommend nitrifying bacteria stuff from a bottle? was reading a post u and another guy had going before what do you think about it

I always just take muck from an established tank. Essentially the same product, but free.

Worth asking for sure! Make sure there are no sick fish in the system you're taking the muck from.

okay thanks, ill prob just buy the liquid stuff, but i already have fish in the tank im going to apply it to, is that okay? and that will basicly insure i rarly get any ammonia spikes or anything?

Room lights why, getting my hood light this coming weekend.

I'd say turn the light on every time you go in the room, they need to get used to it, once you get a hood light and turn that on they will be even more frightened since the light will be even more direct.

Leaving lights out will not help them adjust at all.

I had fish which would run into the tank if you turned the hood light on, they just have to learn the light wont hurt them.

Try a lower wattage bulb/bulbs so it's not as bright when it comes on.
