Anyways.. to answer ur question on where i found the teeth.. It was very random.. i was vaccuming the gravel to clean it when i notice 3 of these bone things floating up.. I immediately realize they were goldie teeth since there teeth is much different from any other species..
No doubt they are goldie teeth.
If they are not falling off for reasons like just shedding them, possible health issue(which I am unaware of them doing this), or maybe some sort of vitamin deficiency I would think it's from excessive cleaning of some sort.
Can you take the male out and see if it looks like it is from him? or do you think that would be too stressful?
Either way it's time to get a pot... This is the world of information here on the internet... now lets find one. Besides I need one too

Ya.. i think i might just be in the breeding season starting right around this month.. About this time last yr my FHs breed.. but what i've notice is my female goldie's belly isn't that big..
What i need is to find another female to increase the chance.. I've heard from breeders that the ratio for breeding is 1 male per 2 female..... but they are so pricy....
So thanks for those individual who recommended me on which caves are best for the goldie pleco.. it seems Jug/ pitcher size will make good caves.. although it's been proving to be much harder to find than i thought..
I came across these in an old vintage antique store.. these are sadly glazed ceremic jugs that are made in china.. Was hoping to get some old vintage ones that are made in the USA or somewhere else.. but CHINA?

There was someone (I forgot who, sorry) selling pleco caves. I forget if it was here on MFK or on AC, but that person spins his/her own caves and if you give him/her the dimensions, he/she can make it. Maybe he/she will come along and see this...
The XXL ones I have are big enough approx 6" tall at the peak and 6" wide and about 14-16 long, same design as the xl caves I have pictured. Let me know if you want a few and I'll be sure to get a couple made as I am out of them rightnow..
