thanks i do have a 60 but thats last resort.

You mean if you have to seperate them?

The Goldie is 100% a wild caught fish. You should quarantine it just incase it has parasites or some other type of sickness that could jeopardize your whole tank.

Im not sure if its a true goldie it looks similar but I think it a false. Anyone no another pleco that looks similar to a goldie? From what I remember he had the same body markings but the fins were a bit different. He is already in a very healthy 120 in the LFS with discus and angels and the guy who brought him back to the LFS had him in with tetra since he was 2". Ill try to post pics tomorrow, Im praying that he is still there my fingers are crossed. It still a really nice fish even if it is a false and ill get him reagarless

i got it! So far so good. i dont think its a goldy though (similar but not the same). its closer to 9 or 10 inches and i got it for only $50! im super happy even if its not a true goldy it still cool looking

my small L190's (4"/ 7"/ 8")didnt bother the L14 but my big L190 (15"-16" in my avatar pic) would not tollerate it and prity much chased it around constantly, the L14 was 8"-9", I ended off selling it for £80 pounds to my freind, i know this dosent effect you right now but it may in years to come.

Goldy are meat eaters.. they eat shrimp... not wood..
