Super green texas or naw?

If I remember right, super green is the trade name for Escondidos down under.

Just a thought
Herichthys carpintus are not from Texas
Herichthys carpintus is really not more green than cyannogurttatus (at least to me)
so as a nickname, (and that's basically what common names are, there's nothing technical about it)
its only reality is that it looks similar to Herichthys cyannoguttatus, and to me, this makes it a very poor choice for a common name.
It leads to misidentification, and worse hybridization.
Just look at all the confusion with th "red terrors" .
yea, I don't disagree, that's why I have always gone w/ "Pearl-scaled", and although it can be confused w/ G. brasiliensis which goes by "Pearl cichlid", if you use common names, you probably already remember that. You don't use common names much so I don't expect you to get confused, but I have learned over the years not everyone want to learn Latin or Greek. When I try to tell friends and family what this fish in my tank is in Latin or Greek they look at me like i'm crazy and say "ENGLISH, PLEASE" LOL

Most people can't even PRONOUNCE the scientific names, much less learn to use them
