Cheers guys,
And vincentii, there are loads, they are at my local maidenhead aquatics.

Steve

my cousin works in maidenhead aquatics. and to be honest theres a lot of crap flagtails going for sale in the uk. most of them have blunt tails and dorsals. not the type you see on the guys post's example. his has potential and i would regard it as an 'A' class i.e, lond pointy tips at the ends of the dorsal and tail fin. my cousin had 6 in his tank and was all low grade. . . maybe mass produced and quality suffered as a result.
wildwoods in enfield has f0 flagtails. very very nice. redtails/yellow tails.

Cheers mate for the info,il inspect them alot closer next time i go.

a good sign of a quality flagtail is all in the tail...the pointier the ends...the better (same with the dorsal)

sweet fish

Hi guys im still unsure if i should get one of these for my tank as im worried it will suck on my other fish, such as polys,a dat my rtg and my small gar while the flagtail gets bigger in the little tank?

What you guys think?

safe with the fish you listed. just dont keep them with rays. rays cant escape the flagtail due to the nature of its shape and mass.

Might get one next time im at the lfs then.
