Okay so i was at petsmart today and got a 25ct of superworms which I think are meal worms right? Can I feed these to my oscar and other fish? I read that you should crush there heads or cut them off so they dont eat the fish from the inside, can they really do that or will they be fine as is?

They are fine to feed to your fish. You don't need to cut off the head, your fish will crush the worms as they eat them.

with regular mealworms i wouldnt worry about it but superworms id go ahead and crush their heads... those things chew their way out of those plastic cups if they stay in there long enough

oof thanks for the heads up, what do you recommend putting them in? and can I just use a razor blade to cut their heads off?

well my other fish I have will probably eat them too though, my dempseys and cons are still small ( there in a diff tank than the oscar) should I just cut them to size though so they dont choke and can eat them easier?

just squish the head.. they are kinda tough. I used the back of spoon...
and they can bite a nice pinch.

but personally your better of buying nightcrawlers for nutrition content in the future. mealworms exoskeletons are almost impossible to digest and then there is actually very little "meat" on them.
