Never had a problem with meal worms either, I feed the giant mealworms on occasion. In the winter for some reason my house is full of flies too and they get sluggish and easy to catch on the cold window glass so I feed them as well, They love em.
My fish have no problems eating meal worms and superworms, they absolutely love them, though. My female dempsey is the main fish that eats the superworms, everyone else goes for the mealworms. I also feed my fish crickets and they love them.
