super worms giant meal worms but the correct name for them is marios
i have fed them to over 20 asian aros none ever got drop eye as long as you drop one in at a time so the aro doesnt take them from the bottom
i find the marios the best food for aros as you can feed the worms anything that the aro wouldnt eat normally like apple carrot pellets spirallina flake you name it the worms will eat it
how many people can say there aro eats fruit or veg
in the wild a aro would get this veg as the insects they eat would be eating plant
i like to layer feed my tank each level of fish gets its own food
the rays get prawn and pellets so does my tig and tigers/dats the sinking type of pellets
my aro wont eat the pellets or prawn which is fine by me as if he did it would be hard to get food past a 28inch asian aro and it would be even harder to stop the aro feeding from the bottom
i throw in prawns and pellets for the other fish then drop 1 mario in at a time normally 20-30 this makes the aro always focused on the water surface not looking down for food ever
