SURPRISE!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Seriously? the additional 17 gallons would collapse your house? Im guessing you dont have any 140+ lb people living there and you have to take turns going up in the second floor that must be supportedby a single 2x4 board.

I know I should just stop reading these but you are either a compulsive liar or you think everyone else is too stupid to use common sense and I honestly dont know why you say any of the things you do. You always claim to have no money for this or that, but you now had some big extra$$ to afford some sort of pro building inspection just to ignore the "advice" you got and immediately exceed the "weight rating" by 50%?

c'mon man.. none of this stuff is even remotely plausible. What gives? And please dont bother with the excuses this time. last time you couldnt show pics or video of your fish following sign language commands for a laundry list of reasons.. i just want to know why you say such silly stuff.

Yes seriously. No I'm not getting a 37g. That's final. No exceptions.

I almost peed a bit when I read the 2x4 comment lol

I too, would like to now about the inspector, if you are not allowed to get a certain tank or What ever, just say so.. anyway great deal for a 20 kit for 40. i dont think any of my box store have that sale

assuming that a gallon of water weighs 8 pounds, 20 gallons of water would be at around 160 pounds, thats not counting lets say 20 pounds of gravel so 180. thats a light aquarium, in perspective, now for the 37.

Assuming a gallon equals approx 8 pounds 37 gallons of water would be 296 pounds plus the 30 or so pounds of gravel makes it 326 pounds.

still a relatively light tank

Now biggs, you may think that that is heavy, but i have a 55 gallon in my upstairs that sits on (more than likely) the same type of floor TJI floor joist thingies. And we didn't even take the time to have it sit directly on top of the TJI's.

And i have to reference my dad on this one who has been building houses for 20+ years.

Seeing that your 20 gallon would weigh nearly 200 lbs completely full, your "professional" told you that you can only have 100 pounds of fish tank on this floor... :nilly:

this is judging by what you said about your 50 % thing.
