Siphoned out half of the fry. Like Ed mentioned the parents attacked the hose first.

Congrats Peter, that's alot of frys swimming around. So are you going to keep half in the 55gal and the other half in a 10gal? It would be interesting to see which ones have a faster growth rate.

the parents let the fry out almost all the time now. I've been dumping baby brine shrimp in the tank twice a day, but am not sure if they are getting any.
Is this going to work? They are in a 55 with sand substrates.

I think they will eventually realize that bbs is food and start eating. Always works for my african cichlid frys. Good luck Peter and dont forget to show more pics of those lil buggers.....
