Switching from one pellet to another trick

I guess the big Mac is supposed to prove the nutritional value of massivore

This thread is not "which pellet is better" it's how to switch from one to another. So let's not touch that subject. It's beating a dead horse. :)

Looks like a good idea to get those stingy cichla off fish crack :)

I wonder how many people would still feed pellet "A" if pellet "B" was as easily accepted as the other.

All I can say is since my cichla have switched to NLS they will very willingly accept a number of other types of pellets now that they used to snub their nose at. So now they get a VARIETY of supplements instead of only a single pellet

Great idea! One question though- have you tried the floating NLS? My bass took to it on first feed. I tried this before sinking NLS because (I believe it was RD who posted this) I had read that the floating was a 'softer' pellet than the sinking. Since feeding them the floating, they readily accept anything pellet-wise now. Sorry to de-rail slightly.

Thanks wheatgerm. I'm excited. I fed again this morn and my fish seem to really like it. So it's working lol

In my next batch I plan to add a pitch of algae wafers. Give them some veggies.

Ya I have tried floating, infant that's what I'm using for this pellet that I'm making. I bought 7.5 floating and they won't touch it. They will now lol.
