looking good. What are you using for coral food?? i would use a little liquid food every now and then just to give them a good nutritional value.

I have some calcium liquid by Kent right now, that's it. I do not know what type of food to get for the corals. What is a good brand?

I noticed some feather dusters growing out of these white skinny tubes. They look very small.

Should I get the refridgerated bottle of zooplankton?

don't worry about it, they'll feed off the tiny particles of fish food floating around, if you've got a really high population of them then some phytoplankton would be welcomed.

Oh ok, cool.

So far there is just 2 of those filter feeders, and 5 mushrooms. I am not feeding with anything besides flake food for the cleaner shrimp (which is awesome).

Phytoplankton is fine, as well as the DT phytoplankton. The DT is the refrigerated food your talkin about right? the reason you feed them different food is the same reason you feed fish different food. There are different areas of nutrition that every living organism needs. I would suggest feeding the corals, this will stimulate them to open larger and also keep them healthy. Keep up on water changes and you will be fine. Also, keep that filter clean and dump the skimmate daily.

I would also recommend liquid food because of the feather dusters. They really like different types of food now and then and this will help them grow faster. With that said keep your calcium around 450 ppm-500ppm and you should notice a pretty good growth rate.

I have liquid calcium by Kent, just in case I need it. My water tests say I'm about 420-440.

Here are some updated pics.

looking very nice. The tank seems healthy. Make sure when you get some corals in there that you do feed them a little bit.

I think feeding won't be a problem. From those pictures, you can see that it is a bit cloudy. That is ALL pods, all of them are kicking like shrimp. I think it is an infection of pods, is this a good thing?
