Oh thanks. I hope they turn out great. All of my tanks are all male except for 1 tank with 2 female that are separated. Dont want problems to occur.

they look the same when you dont know the difference.

I bought some zo from this guy an hour away. He had zonatum and synspillum in the same tank. I couldn't tell them apart. ended up with 2 female zo and one male syn. Sucks because I only wanted the zo because the syn is very easy to get at my lfs. But to the naked eye really hard and when they're stress you can forget iding them

No point starting a new thread. Little guy is doing good right now but he won't take any food from the surface Sincd I've had him I only see him eat scraps and blood worms which are not very healthy, he is still rather skinny any ideas to get him eating pellets from the surface.

Its rare that I can get any vieja(other than heterospilus - they have NO fear) to take anything from the surface and when they do, they are super skittish. The only thing they will take from the surface with any regularity is FD blackworm cubes torn into chunks. They go nuts for the stuff! Pellets, crisps & flakes have to sink IME.

He has competition and the competition is winning haha. He's in with a small freddy, I feed both floating and sinking he does eat a few small pieces of the sinking pellets but not enough in my opinion. The freddy is not to aggy either and spends most the day in his cave while the zo gets the run of the tank.
