the one's I wouldn't say 100% for sure are pure ellioti are the OP's, and ohdannyboy's look similar to aureus I've seen. A lot of the problem is that ellioti have a lot of regional variants and they can have quite distinct differences in color.
T. affinis, T. meeki and T. pasionis have different body shape (mostly in the jaw and head area) than the other group, which is most often referred to as the Helleri group.![]()

I had three of them for only a couple months before two paired off and started spawning. By the third spawn, I was ready and set up a fry tank to grow them out. They were doing well and grew to about 1/2" then suddenly within a matter of days, the fry tank crashed and my male died out of nowhere (went from colored up and swimming fine to dead in about 40 min.) leaving me with 2 females. I was pretty mad.
