I've done it and one of my tanks still does. proabbbly mainly cause they totally destroy your water quality cause they are horrible mess makers, and also hog all the food... damn japanese carp....

I think this happens alot, goldfish are just Super dirty !!! I have noticed that the fancier ones like it a bit warmer sometimes? Just goes to show how hardy these underated fish can be ! 6 MOnths in that snakehead tank !!!!!!!
