They also are much more elongate than Andinoacara species, I tend to think of them as mellower, mouthbrooding blue acaras.

But a lot of times, internal characteristics can divide a genus, or a small minor external differance. The colors remind me of a blue acara, the body shape more of Bujurquina though.

It memory serves, T. macantzatza is much more closely related to Bujurquina than to Andinoacara. Might have been a MPE paper but I can't remember...

There is no way Tahuantinsuyoa is an "evolved version of a Andinoacara", nor would it ever get "reclassified" as one.

That is, unless bats get reclassified as as a type of butterfly first.

It does look like an Andinoacara to a degree...it's just sometimes looks can be deceiving...

I have two small one, I would love to see what an adult male looks like, do anyone no what size to the reach when adults, how aggressive are they? Will they look as good as a Gold Sauum (Green Terror)?
