wouldnt the seller want to know the correct species of the ray he was selling?

Maximum size by species can make or break a potential sale..


Colin, you say that once you see a true scobina, you can't mistake them.. (I have never seen one in person)

What are these traits? Is it behavior? Body structure?.. Just curious.

Miles,

Scobina have four rows of tail spines. They are more dorsally compressed than many other rays. They also have a unique eye structure.

They are a great ray and I would kill to get some more of them.
