my general rule of thumb for tank size is 2.5 times the length of the fish by 1 times the length of the fish , so for an eight inch fish thats a 20x10 in other words a 10 gallon, what i never considered was chemical build up.
so the only probi can see then is the polutant build up? i really dont think itd be an issue cuz i already do daily water changes on my 29 gallon, so if i do like a 30% water change daily i dont think the nirates will have much of a chance to build up, also the tank is currently filtered by a 30 gallon external power filter that came with my 29 gal and i upgraded to a 50 gal biowhell on that tank. so if i fed him bidaily with frozen bloodworms, bout half a cube right? then did a 20-30 precent water change every morning when i do my 29 gallon's water change, would it be fine?
sorry to seem stupid but theres just not a whole lot of info on this fish.......
