They are not aggressive to other fish really, but each other they are super mean... similar to the way fronts are... They can eat the same diet as either trophus or comps/calvus... More veggies are ideal for these guys though
what would suggest then as i was under the impression that tropheus should be kept best by themselves? do u think i should keep the calvus and eretmodus with one of the tropheus groups or in with the neochromis pair and some malawi's.
I would do just what I suggested above. Put the gobies in with a group of tropheus. Again Tropheus and gobies only. They can be house together just fine.
In asking what to put with gobies, the tropheus is a good choice. I have seen a few breeders around me who have successful breed both in the same tank.
alrite then and then put calvus in with malawi'sor tank by themself?
all of these fish i will be getting from a wholesaler so i wont have a choice on how many i get it will be a set number like 25 or something. but yer i will probably get around 25 for each species
Here is a curve ball, would a school of tropheus be okay with Convicts and a pair of Aguila? (I think thats how it is spelled) In a 55gal? I've read some post where people had no issues with S.A and Africans in the tank and some with issues...
If not, I can unload the Con+ Aguil and keep a troph only tank..
yer i would at least go 60-70. but like my set-up is going to be 6 4fts 3 2fts an 8ft an then the filter bit im hoping to use a 6ft for that so mine will have just under 400g without 6ft and about 550g with the 6ft. opinions everybody?
