Well, I would hate for you see a picture and then expect to get a fish that looked like the picture. With cyps you have to be aware that there are color variants within each species of fish.

For example You can find Cyprichromis leptosoma Mplungu (Blue-Flash) and some will have white dorsal fins with blue bodies, while others will have yellow dorsals with blue bodies and I have even seen some with yellow tails and blue bodies. I dont think the ikola are popular over here, either that or they go by a different collection point.
 
I would go with a 6foot tank for the tropheus but 4foot will also work. The most important thing is the water condition and food they get. Your stock list does sound like too much for your tanks though.....:grinno:
 
Well I dont have the I kola but I do have 2 Cyprichromis leptosoma Mplungu and will hopefully get more down the road. I love them =]

Go for the Ikola, They are more than likely a jumbo variant but give them a shot you never know.
