I always read whenever TUIC is mentioned, 100% of the time it’s great news. Big props to Kevin for spending so much time on this issue and making it right. Solid customer service that you definitely don’t find everywhere, just a select few like TUIC. I’m glad you took over and the company is back in operation and will be ordering soon! Crap happens but looks like your on top of your game.
 
I'm happy to hear Kevin's side of the incident, though it's a shame the shipping company's fail happened in the first place. I've been there with my own little enterprise (not fish related), do everything right and someone else in the shipping pipeline honks it up.

I've been watching this thread but resisted reacting or posting until I saw the outcome. I've followed (and posted) news of the TUIC changeover and was confident that if Jeff turned over TUIC, it would only be to someone who would continue his high standards. It's nice to see this is true.

Update...

I just got off the phone with Kevin......

Package was delivered this AM to my front porch. I was at work so I called my 80 year old father to come over and open it up.

THEY WERE BOTH ALIVE! I repeatedly had to ask my father over the phone if he was sure? He said " There jumping around in the bags like crazy"

I had to walk my father through floating the bags process but he got it done.

My father commented on how good they were packaged.

I tried to pay Kevin over the phone but he wouldn't take my money.

I'm glad I sent my father over at 11AM as apposed to 6PM when I get home from work.

Kevin and I had a good talk, and I want everyone to know he's a great guy and you can definitely trust him.

I will try and post some pictures tonight.

It’s great that the boxes are finally showing up. The failures of UPS/FedEx are one of the reasons I quit commercially selling discus. I was losing a ton of money due to delayed packages, lost packages, etc. I don’t know what happened in the past couple of years but the reliability of all the carriers took a nosedive. The last four orders I made with Rapps showed up a day late despite it being overnight service. It was no fault of Jeff’s — UPS couldn’t seem to figure out how to get a package from NJ to FL overnight even though they gladly accepted the $80 to do it.
