as u can see in the picture. my heater was set up straight on the lefthand side of the tank. wen the heater blew up the glass launched to the other side of bed.

AHH.... hell naw... I'm returning the heaters I just purchased. Thanks for sharing this info.

Speaking of heaters, has anyone used the Titanium heater from JBJ?

I would like to try the JBJ as they offer the large sizes I need I have just been reluctant to because of bad luck with heaters...

I had a brand new Stealth die on me too, luckily I caught it before it exploded. It was leaking lots of voltage into the water though.

Man that sucks. Pretty much all I use are Steath Heaters because they're the only ones that hold up to abusive cichlids and clumsy turtles. I have heard of other people having issues with them but so far so good here (knocks on wood).

I use stealth marineland heaters.No problems yet. Let me know what they say about the reason it exploded...

wow. I had great luck when my filters broke. They sent me brand new ones and did not even collect the old ones. They were awesome. Just be nice with them and they will be nice to you.

Same thing happened to me buddy. I sent mine in over 2 months ago and no one has gotten back to me, still!! I will not buy marineland again because of this.

i finally had some1 pick up. blah blah send heater to some place in virgina. blah blah pictures. i think im out of the fish hobby. i hath to redo 2 bedroom floors. atleast i didnt lose any fishes. but i guess ima sell them off.
