My tanks:
125 gallon with 2 200 watt heaters, an AC110 hob filter (will be adding a Rena XP3 in a few weeks) and currently unlit (getting LEDs in a couple weeks so no huge power usage increase)
55 with a 300 watt heater, an AC70 hob filter and two 15 watt fluorescent lights
55 with a 300 watt heater, an AquaTech 30-60 hob filter and two 15 watt fluorescent lights
20 high with a 200 watt heater, a Penguin 150 bio wheel filter and LED lighting
The total increase in electric costs for me over normal house usage was about $15-20 a month. My heaters run for maybe 4-5 hours total a day and I may be overestimating there a bit (entire house is set to keep the house at 78 degrees and all my tanks are set for 81 degrees). Heaters definitely are the #1 electrical expense in the fish keeping hobby because of their large watt usage.
