This morning when I put the light on all of the fish were. Very stressed so I checked the water and everything was fine. I pit some stuff I. For stress and went to school. When I go home my clown loach and one of my dis us were dead WHY??? The water and temperature are fine. I put new lights I. And a Moon light could that be the problem or a tank crash pleAse help

i don't think the light will have any effect on your fiishs death.

what size is your tank and what do you have in your tank? When was the last time you did a water change?

What's the water chemistry?

Filtration?

Were there any other signs on the fish?

Any film on the top of the water?

I had something similiar happen, in my 70 - my problem was that I had to big of a bio-load for my plants and was doing water changes too frequently... the outcome was that it killed too much good bacteria and caused a tank crash that killed some of my fish...

The other possible issue, do you run co2 in the tank? Plants suck up more oxygen at night, so if your running co2 and then not putting enough oxygen back into the water that can also cause fishies to stress out and die...

Water chemistry is hard water 0 nitrite and nitrate 0.2 ammonia and 0 everything. The filter is a 20-40 whisper they were all at the top of the water and breathing heavily and big pale spots on the clown loach. I do not have C02 and can't remember if there was film on the water. When I did a water change the night before I put a new filter in but I cleaned it in the tank water and put an old peace of the other cartridge in it. When I did a water change everything seemed fine again
