Check the oxygen levels. I did a water change last week and a few hours later, practically all of my fish were lying on the bottom of the tank seemingly on their last breath(no pun intended). Luckily I was home and had an idea what happened. So I added some aeration quickly to the water which was a big airdrome and adjusted the the spray bar to get more surface movement ( it was completely submerged before). This did the trick and 10-15 minutes later, they were swimming around again like nothing happened. I unfortunately lost one fish, but it could've been a complete loss of about 20 3-4 year old Tanganyikan Cichlids plus about 30-40 Juli Marlieri fry. Add some aeration, it's worth a shot. Good luck!!
Well, after putting in the pura pad, all's well. Or at least no more deaths.
I also turned off Co2
I guess time will tell
I'll keep u posted if something changes
Thanks everyone

I found another dead bristlenose tonight. I still have no idea
water temp about 74°
Co2 off. Lots of airation and water movement.
Pura pad still in magnum.
Could old R.O water be the problem?
But then I water changed with tap, can't be it
Any more ideas?
