Hello all again. I thought I would update this thread with a summary. I am using an API test kit. So when saying >x, the reading is maxing out the color chart.
6-30-19: Set up aquarium, dosed NH3 higher than what I wanted, >8ppm and added a double dose of "bacteria in a bottle."
7-3-19: NH3 back to 0ppm. NO2 >>5ppm.
7-10-19: NO2 back to 0ppm, NO3 >>160ppm.
Went faster than expected really. I was worried the Nitrite levels were going to be to high, even toxic for the bacteria. Reading went from 5ppm to 0ppm in 24hrs. Now for a very large water change and stocking
