Tank is Cracked!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hang in there , things will eventually get better...

Yeah I've been looking at some different fish but my heart isn't really in it yet. So far, I'm thinking of these potentials: Cuban, more clown loaches, festae, more severums, or a black belt. I'm only beginning to browse my options so far. Any more ideas?

Get a new group of clowns. Or maybe some other bottom dweller such as lima shovelnose. They are awesome.

Another update...

Came home and I did not lose any fish today. I did some serious cleaning and water changes tonight also.

I managed to net my fish and take pics for scale and reference

My indo dat is 8"
Large clown loach is 9"
Rotkeil severum is 8"
Green texas is pushing 9"

either you have small hands or that loach in the first pic is gigantic, either way nice fish.

So sorry, I just finished reading the thread and realized your loaches died. Sorry for your loss.

I'm debating a few fish at the moment. I'm not sure which way to go just yet though. I have been considering adding another cat/pleco to the tank since my gibby died 6 months ago, just not sure which kind yet. Nothing has screamed at me. Whatever it is will have to start out large enough my 8" dat won't eat it, since he's learned the fine art of ambush and hunting.

Cuban
Festae
Black Belt
Severum

I'm not sure but I know I want some movement. Especially now that I've lost half of my stock.
Any more suggestions?

What do you guys think of adding any of these to the current stock list (assuming no more die)

Current:
P. bifas
BGK
TT eel
Rotkeil severum
Texas
Indo Dat

Thinking about some or all of these:
Normal/BG JD
Polleni (Madagascar)
Severum - preferred a Super red but not too picky
Cuban
Festae (prefer female)

Would also like to put a catfish/pleco in there at some point but I'm not sure what to add. Suggestions welcome! Nothing too large or predatory. Footprint is 6x2x2 = 180 gallons.

My lfs has a few pollenis right now and I'm really tempted to grab one after my tank is healed up finally.
Any suggestions or different fish to think of?

Also.. just got news from my lfs.

MY NEW REPLACEMENT TANK ARRIVED TODAY! My husband and I are planning to inspect/pick up on Saturday. That means we may finally be seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Let's hope everyone stabilizes again very soon.
