Not sure why the temps so high unless that's your room temp, maybe?
I'd do a water change to get that "algae killer crap" out of there. All those products they sell for algae control, water clarifyer, all that stuff is worthless. Nothing tank maintence and water changes can't do. After a week it's time for a water change anyway, so I'd do one and get that stuff out of there.
 
Temp is so high because I plan on putting my pbass back in there and they need that higher temp. This friday will be 2 weeks bein cycled. I'll do a 30 percent w/c on saturday...and I just threw in 4 large plants and 2 smaller ones.

So you guys/girls sayin no on the w/c and just dont add any algae destroyer? I dont think a w/c is needed. Was just gonna do it to rid of some of the chems leftover from the algae destroyer. What should me readings be in order for my tank to be fully cycled?

Leave your fish where they are, and get some clear 100% ammonia and cycle the 120 with ammonia instead of fish...
Heat the tank to 82+degrees
Use 5 drops per gallon 120 gal x 5 drops = 600 drops or 30 ml.=1/8th cup,
do this every day, you should be getting an Ammonia reading. Zero NitrItes, zero Nitrates...
continue this till you get a NitrIte reading.
When you do,
Start putting 3 drops per gallon 120 x 3 = 360 drops = 18 ml. = 1 1/4 tablespoon daily
till your Ammonia and NitrItes are at zero...
then you should see Ammonia 0 / Nitrites 0 / NitrAtes 20-40ppm

Do a 50% W/C adjust the temp, quit with the Ammonia drops and add your fish...
you are now cycled...
 
I have the test kit from API(american pharmecuticals). Should I let it cycle longer or should I do a w/c?
