When I drained the tank I left that fake log outta water for a good 3 minutes and they still wouldnt come out.....Maybe I'll pull it out and stick it in a tub w/ water from my 55g after a w/c.
Dood they're just catfish, not sharks, reach in there and persuede them out...you want to put that piece back in the 120 to cycle it...

Sweet....thanks a ton zennz. Should I even mess w/ my temp or just leave it at it's current 84. Now my only problem is gettin my raphaels out of my fake log.

Just pick the fake log up and put it in the temp tank the Raphaels will be going into. They'll appreicate not having to lose their 'home'. That's how I always move my Raphaels, easiest fish I've got to move:-)

Log wont fit into the 55....and tongs wont reach...they just may be going into a tub w/ their log...Ive got no idea.

Not yet....safeway only had lemon scented ammonia. ANd the gf had to use the car to go to work. SO she is gonna check a few stores on the way home. The tank has been cycling for almost two weeks....I just havent found any ammonia to help jump start it. Im gonna pull all my plants out and put them in my 55 and try and get the cats out now.

I cant find pure ammonia anywhere. Ive checked safeway, walmart and longs drugs. my levels as of now are ammonia .75(goin up slowly), nitrites 0, nitrates 0.

Are there any fish in there still?

Isn't there a small Mom and Pop grocery store around there?
I got my last gallon at Safeway, here.

You have to have a sustained ammonia supply for it to cycle correctly.
