well since its too long and 1 dolly wont work use 2dollys?..:screwy:
it would be even more work IMO since you wont be able to take turns/corners as the stationary wheels are toward the outside and the wheels that spin are on the inside :screwy: :screwy:

jc1 ..... If your gonna go with a monstrous tank that size, IMO u should really think of getting acrylic rather than glass, I know its more expensive but look at it this way.. if somehow something ever bangs on it won't crack or in the long run acrylic won't leak like some glass tanks. And if u ever decide u want to sell the tank.. Acrylic has much more value still! And as u already know its lighter in weight. And another thing.... Glass tends to get cold easier than acrylic, meaning your heater
s will have to work harder to keep your tank at the right temperature! So in the end I think I think its worth it to get acrylic. :-)

yeah i know man, hopefully i can find one used. nobody ever sells anything good in norcal. wanna sell yours??? :naughty: used is prob they only way since i dont think im willing to pay the price of a new acrylic tank. cheapest ive seen for acrylic tank only is $2400 from world marine systems in san Jo :nilly:

i believe what he was mentioning was a 4-wheeled moving dolly.

would be very handy. you would need 2 or 3 of them, and stairs and steps would not be do-able. but it would help immensely if there were long flat distances you had to move it. i believe they make those with casters on all four corners, which would eliminate the cornering issue

Sure i'll sell u mine... But not until I can find a bigger tank for a good ass deal... Hahaha...lol.
But seriously... Take your time, I'm sure someone will upgrade and sell u their monster tank. Keep us updated once u find one!

yeah thats what i had in mind as well. these would definitely make the job easier. prob easy to make too.

the nice thing about using a flat dolly though is that you can use it to climb stairs as well...

wait, someone will make you a 390 for 1500??

If you need any help, let me know.
