Thanks. I don't know if this is the same one because the seller only had the post up about 12 hours before I was loading it into the back of a truck. This setup is actually pretty cool. It doesn't have a filter pump because the aeration forces the water into the chamber up top. I've just wrapped some carbon up in a filter pad and stuffed it in there. Water went crystal clear in a night.

any catfish works well , as long as its the same size of the O

Yeah, but I've had bad luck with catfish. I like the look of clown loaches, but from what I've read, I wouldn't be able to stock as many as I should. This tank isn't quite that big.

you should have a synodontis eupterus they help out alot and they are cool looking and they are active along as there is plants in the tank

The add I read said the tank could be used as a freshwater or saltwater, but the owners only used it as a fresh. And that the chiller had never been ran. Sound familiar????

Yeah, I guess that's the one. They must have listed it more than once.

My Oscar is accustomed to live food as well... so much so that he ate all but 1 of my Emerald Cory Cats. Mind you, hes only 3 inches, and the Cats are 2 inches...

Oscars eat anything that fits in their mouths (everything but the Banana Plant I have).

Oh, before anyone gets bent out of shape, he gets fed 1 live Molly every 2 weeks. Home Bred, not from nasty store conditions.

i like the silver dollar idea, i just may do that in my tank...tired of just getting a pleco to solve the problem of un-eaten food. dollars are a lot easier on the eyes too.
i have 2 oscars and they are living with 2 golden weather loaches about 8 in each.. they seem to do good at picking up the spare spit out stuff..
