Definitely not in a 60gal with a JD. The Flowerhorn will require a larger space and its aggression is usually much more than a JD. He would end up with just a Flowerhorn.ilovearowana;4431571;4431571 said:

blue acara isn't as bad as the others but I would probably say no, especially cuhz you'll probably be getting it full grown as not to get bullied by the jd, so there's no "ill upgrade when it grows"

Personally, I wouldn't add anything. JD's get very big and a 60 gallon is the perfect size for one. A FH or oscar needs a 75 gallon alone.
If you have overfiltration and do a 50% water change each week you could add some catfish like upside down or talking I have them with my JDs.
depending on the dimitions of the tank, you could do with a male jd for her company if your willing to deal with frys.
