Oscars aren't very aggressive, assuming their females, and with enough filtration they'll do fine in a 90...

It is impossible to sex oscars. And proven gender oscars are much more expensive than they need to be. A 90g is useless for them, they need the width much more than the height, so if you are getting a 90g, why not just get a 75g? I say at least a 125-150g with a huge sump

2 in a 90 gallon is cruel. I say at least a 150g for two oscars. Also if you have two aggressive fish, you will need dithers, so a 150g is more ideal when getting dithers.

A 90g is cruel, how would you know this?

What do dithers have to do with aggressive fish? Unless you are confused as to what dithers are and actually mean target fish.
