Tank re-seal advice.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When stuff is so bad that its restricted in 3rd world, lawless, a war plagued countries, it just speaks volumes

But at least Momentive won't kill your fish like GE II

I cannot speak as to why this product would be so restricted. I have used it many times and it has never caused me or any of my fish any problems.
But with any chemical you should take proper precautions. Good ventilation during the application and curing process, I also recommend gloves. I like to use the surgical type disposable gloves.

It doesn't seem to have any stronger odour than GE1.

also the MSDS is lower on the page if anyone has sever concerns, just don't use it.

So today is the day. In the process of taking down the on tank and setting up the other. Wish me luck lol.

The tank being re done.

Well I figured I'd let everyone know that so far it was successful. After it cured for two days, I set it back up, filled and emptied three times and I let it sit full for a day to make sure there were no leaks. Emptied it the final time, refilled with as much old tank water as I could. So far I haven't loss a fish or plant. So I figured I'd show off the new scape and a new addition

The new layout. All live plants. uploadfromtaptalk1386318432386.jpg

My favourite fish in the tank. I didn't realize he only had one eye and missing fins till after I got home. But he eats just fine and seems to be loving life. uploadfromtaptalk1386318498394.jpg

And my first BGK. Stopped in my lfs on black Friday and they were having a 25% off everything in the store sale. I couldn't pass him up. uploadfromtaptalk1386318574171.jpg
