Pretty cool idea. These custom backgrounds really intrigue me lately. I have a center overflow I would like to cover up one day. This could work for that too. Never seen it done on a floor though. Curious to see how it looks when done.

I was told that the weight of the water will keep it down. It's not the traditional Styrofoam background material. It reminds me of roofing stuff.

I used a similar background from them in my 125 and it sank just fine, I don't think you'll have an issue with it floating unless you trap air under it.

Read my post on page 2. Been there, tried it, hated it.

Maintenence with a 3d bottom AND substrate is horrible. My advice.....Don't do it.
