so I am exspecting to hear alot about this BUT in my 65 gallon I have 2 inches regular tank gravel 1 1/2 inches ecco complete and then to top it off I have another 1 1/2 of play sand however my endli LOVES to play in the sand and has mixedall three together the main thing is that on the edges I have pool sand and George (the endli) HATES IT!!! all he does is push it out of the way when I first had the pool sand in there he came down with a small fungus spot nothing big after that he has pushed the pool sand to the edges (used to cover whole tank) so in my opinion I DO NO sudgest it in my experience ednli's would rather have the soft play sand and on the cleaning issue... I do not clean mine simply because I have a small kuli loach colony under the sand (yes they get eaten)
