tank setup and fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that's almost as bad as when we rescured our 2 blood parretts. she had 4 big paretts in a 30 gal feeding it liver sausage.

so what your saying is move the needle down and get more. that can be done. but would it be bad if everything was in one tank? if so what signs do i have to watch for if any

thats pretty bad!

You should be good with the set-ups you got.
so you want to have all in the 55? well the only thing i would watch for would be aggression from the jd. like excessive chasing or actual nipping
.

You have any other set ups?

nope no other major setups. just my kids 5 gal and beta bowl. i aslo just added the birch to the top tank. lets see what happens. also you didn't answer the question. could i leave them all in the big tank? or better to move the needle

any reason why move the needle over the jd? you stated the jd could be a problem later down the road

JD could potentially be the biggest problem. Its top target may be the needle nose. Needles are very fragile.

I would keep the JD in the 55 because there is more water. sounds funny but it eases the bioload.

But you could do anything really. Maybe the JD and Pleco in the 55 and everything else in the 45?

was almost thinking jd in the 45long with the pleco. and the rest in the bigger one and get more needle's. think that would work or the other way around is better and no more needle's

so far no one has gone after the needle. just the parrot and jd *****ing at each other (get out of my space, parrot:on no i'm out scared must run jd following)
