By the sounds of it you are using a 50/50 PC which isnt designed for freshwater plants.

No the light fixture I am using is a 48" Coralife power compacts. There is four total bulbs. Each is 65 watts for a total 260 watts. So I am going to keep two of the bulbs 130 watts of 10000k and the others 130 watts of 6700k. For about 3.5watts per gallon. I hope this clarifies the lighting issue for you.

room temp would be fine and you could sell the heater for more food at ur lfs cuz natives eat a ton usually
