Tank setup

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The stock list is good but you may want to eventually rethink the red zebras. They like to kill tankmates. Mine is living with my oscars because he could not co-exist with other africans.

Just thought of this... May want to put a rock or two in the open areas in the front. Otherwise a fish can see all the other guys hiding when swimming in the open. Need to break line of sight more to keep aggression down.

Would some plants on a rock break the sight a little? And thanks everyon else for the advice. It seems all I need to do is get a black backround

Nice sand, i like the white too. IF it was my tank i would probably add the black background as stated above, and probably just pile the bricks rather then laying them like that. I believe cichlids like to dig between large substrates and the sand, and that wouldn't really be possible with the stacked bricks. Also, you should design something to make sure no one accidentally rocks the tank to where all of the bricks fall.

BTW nice stock list

What do you mean pile instead of lay?

That tank is a BRICK HOUSSSSEEEE!! It's Mighty Mighty..... LoL okay i'll stop, black it out add some tall plants to break the monotony of the bricks and you'll be good.

Q-Bert would be happy...
