they dont grow that big in home aquaria... and 7 other reputable websites have said 180-240. thats like saying an oscar needs a 265 to survive.

if you already know the answer from all your "reputable" websites why bother to come and ask here ? :screwy:
....I feel bad for that TSN already

did you read the entire thread? i 100% agree w/ diskman that this site is more reputable than all those sites. i just figured 8 of them saying roughly the same tank size could be correct... and im not getting a tsn until my pond is complete in my basement. chill, man

i think a tigrinus looks pretty sweet. does it need a 8x4x4 or something like that?

8x3x3 would be nice for a tig or possibly shorter in length, why didnt you say you were planning a pond instead of answering most replies with an attitude?
If it was in a 240 etc until it was big enough to go in the pond then obviously that would be fine, depending on the size of pond.

Steve

due to most replies, i have considered building a pond in my basement- maybe 9x4x3. im still researching in the diy, but i do want a pond.

and it isnt an attitude. people didnt read the entire thread and asked COMPLETELY redundant questions.
