Tank stand Height?

I just built a stand for a 75 gallon. Its 36 inches tall and I will never go back to anything lower. I can't wait to see it full of water.

30" is perfect hight when sitting in a lazy boy..

hey people i,m not shore what way to go i like the look of the 36inch but i have been told that my tank will not be very stable as well at the taller you go the stronger the stane has to be i got a 55"x24"x24" total 140g i got a 3' at the moment on a 28" and i think it,s way to low can any one please give me some advice cheers

If it makes you feel better, I plan on having my 500G sitting on a 36" tall stand.
