I want about 3 silvers, more than that will crowd the tank if they grow large. This will be my first time owning an arrowana so I want to make sure I do it right. I will be posting soon about water flow in the tank and get some feed back on that. I don't have a pond, but I am in the planning stages of setting my 500 gallon up. So 3 little silvers in 500 gallons will be great for them lol! Do arrowanas usually come to the surface when feeding? Or rather do they know when it is feeding time when they see you open the lid? Small freshwater fish swim around mindlessly and if they see food they eat it, otherwise it falls to the bottom. Oscars however immidiately respond to feedings. How are arrowanas when feeding?
