I'm finally watching Animal Planet's new show, "Tanked." It's a cool show. They're making a tank out of an old juke box for a 50's themed diner and a round acrylic ray tank for another client. I like the show, but they don't seem to have any freshwater tanks. When it comes to beauty, it's a saltwater world.

Ya, I like the show too (even though every word out of their mouths seems scripted) I do wish they did some freshwater tanks too. I love to see the saltwater tanks, but a really nice cichlid tank would really hit home for me 
that show is crap and they dont even cycle the water before putting fish in and they totaly over crowd there tanks
I doubt that they don't cycle their tanks. Just keep in mind that it's a TV show with a 30-minute window. They don't have time to show or discuss specifics, such as cycling. I know they're cycling because they are building expensive tanks in expensive homes and they stock those expensive tanks with very expensive fish. There's no room for failure.
It's all for the sake of TV. It's a reality show, not a step-by-step or how-to show.
They don't seem to know much of anything about fish. They were horrified stingrays hurried themselves after being shipped lol
the shows just good enough to keep me watchin but its def over the top. hopefully it gets better after some feedback...
