If you want to gather knowledge about fish, watch River Monsters. This is reality TV. That's the point that I've been trying to get across. Some of you understand, that these guys know fish and have a successful and lucrative business.

This is what I meant when discussing the coral inserts, does anyone really think these look good? Half of them look like Barney exploded

The coral inserts confused me as well. I am not a saltwater keeper, but am a fan. From my reading (pardon my confusion) I thought you had to have some form of live rock in a tank (FOWLR). On the show with the sharks there was nothing but the inserts and sand. Reminder, I am a complete salt noob so I might just have misunderstood what I have read before.
Actually, River Monsters is not the ideal source for that either. That show uses a healthy amount of sensationalism...It's no Monsterfish with Zeb Hogan but I still enjoy it.If you want to gather knowledge about fish, watch River Monsters.
