Hello,
i have a 200G tank with 5 pumpkinseed sunfish and 3 green sunfish in it
i wanna keep some oscars with them..
but i dont know if the sunfish can handle the tempeture of the oscars
i am planning on keeping them in 78-80f
also i like to keep some perch with them..

can these fish all handle the 78-80f tempeture?
and is 200 g enough to keep 3 oscars 3 perch 5 pumpkins 3 greens

All I can say is that I have kept both Greens and Pumpkin-seed Sunfish in 78 degree water with no problems. Haven't tried Perch though.
Any pictures of the tank? :D
A video from a long time ago with the Green Sunfish I had in the 78 degree tank.

The perch probably won't like the temps that warm, they generally prefer it a bit cooler. Also, keep an eye on the green sunfish, they can be very aggressive!

thanks! i think in statt of the perch i will try and find some more greens next summer

my green is a verry lay back fish hehe
he is the boss of the tank but he aint that agressive towards the other fish yet (if they dont cross his terretory)
i think this will change when the oscars come probely!

I agree that the perch probably won't like the warmth as much, but the sunfish will be fine. One thing to be aware of is that the sunfish's metabolisms will ramp up with increased water temperature, and your relatively laid-back fish may become much more aggressive in tropical temps.

ok thanks i will keep an eye on the big green hehe!

and about the population?
i wanna go up to about 5 greens 7 pumpkins and 3 oscars
is this ok for a 200g tank?

and onother question!
how can i let my sundish breed?
the store people always tell that they overpopulate easy
i got mine for about 3-5 months now and they never made anny sign of wanting to breed

do they breed in a particular season or tempeture?

cool them down, let them stay that way for a few months, then warm up gradually and feed heavily. That will simulate the seasonal cycles and may induce them to spawn. If your in the netherlands, how did you get them?
Also, in my experience centrarchids re much more agressive than oscars, the oscars may get bullied. They are a conspecific of sorts, one thing to keep in mind.
