I would make sure you slowly reduce temps......like a couple of degrees every 3 days, and make sure you dont use chlorinated ice cubes to cool your water (the chlorine will kill your sunnies). Then after giving your pets some time to acclimate (say a week) I would follow Zimmermans advice "cool them down, let them stay that way for a few months, then warm up gradually and feed heavily. That will simulate the seasonal cycles and may induce them to spawn". It sounds like your Greens staked out a territory, how big is the area behind the roots......and do you have small gravel or sand in the aquarium he can build a nest in?Nzero;4547422;4547422 said:my big green in in a spot behind a few roots
