Tankmates for 2 tiger oscars in 175gal

depending on your filtration,that would not be too much,i have 2x12 inche tiger oscars,1x10 inche uaru,2 pearsei cichlids(1x7inches,1x4 inches),2x8 inches bocorti cichlids,and 1x7 inche synspilum,1x3 inche nicraguense and a 6 inche bushynose pleco in a 180 gallon(filtration is alot though 1x60 gallon wet/dry,1 fx5,2ac 110's0but i don't have a problem with water quality(50 percent water change weekly)and agression is minimal,the male bocourti chases the female alot thats it.It all depends on the fish it self what might work for some may not work for others(trail and error)

by saying rearrange you mean what? because there are no decors even substrate in my tank.

I mean by movin the decor to different areas of the tank like a rock on the rite side to the left or middle. Just giving the tank a different look or even change ur tanks decor

So i wld be ok with the 2 tiger oscars 1 lima shovelnose and 2 birchirs. Thnx but how many gph wld i need?

Do you have filters on it already? I would think fx5 would be ok, and you could always add something else if you're not getting enough filtration. On my 170 I have a fx5 and a small sump.

When u add fish to oscar tanks u have to rearrange them. It makes the fish have to make new territory. Because the new fish doesnt knw whos territory is where. And the oscars will bully. If u do rearrange its like putting the oscars in a new tank. Nothing is familliar and they dont knw where there territory is. (well this works with some)

My question would be, why would you rearrange the tank for fish that had not even been in the tank.

And also wld it be a good idea to breed meal worms to help add more nutrition to the oscars diets.

Meal worms arent really Nutritious for them, they cant digest they're outer shell and they promote high livels of ammonia, oscars tend to only want Meal worms and that bad news!!!! GL with the search though.

Ps dont get me wrong, meal worms are awesome treats for oscars but they will want em all the time, ive only just got my gold oscar back on Hikari gold!!!

Wld it be better or worse to take out the 2 birchirs and add a bala shark or 2? Also wht wld be a good cheap filter? And wht is a good heater(if i need one). Also wht wld be a good food source i can feed all the fish? And wht else wld be good to thro in to make a varied diet?
