I have a 3 1/2'' gt a 2'' firemouth & a 1 1/2'' jd in a 75 gal. There are no signs of aggression, so i was thinking of getting another Tankmates for them. Any suggestions? :naughty:

Are you planning on getting more tanks in the future? That tank will eventually be too small for you current fishes.

For now, since your fishes are still small, you could probably add one more small cichlid there, like a convict or hrp/siquia or a jewel cichlid.

Be prepared to buy a 100G for your GT alone within the next 4 months.
Good luck!:)

Yeah you're right.. That's crazy LOL.. It will be fine on a 75..:chillpill: but the JD needs to be separated someday.. right?
:screwy:
Not really it depends on the fish you just have to let it play out and see what works and what dosen't, But if you plan on keeping the current stock your gona need to upgrade for a bigger tank;)

I've got a 7" GT a 5" JD and a 6" Rose Queen all in a 75 gallon all fish get along great. :screwy:

It's kinda sad that some people here that suggests to giving fish a better home gets the " :screwy: ". And it's even sadder that your post gives the message that you are encouraging people that overstocking is good.
They might get along great, but them being happy is a totally different thing. Some inmates in prisons get along great but that doesn't mean they like it there.

yea i am def. getting a bigger tank for the future though. I was thinking around 200+. plus im not really worried about the gt at the moment because he is new to this tank. He was in a grow out tank but my adult gt (see avatar) died recently so he doesn't need to be a specific size. Also he is only 2 or 3 months old so... Thanks For all the help!

Also would a red texas cichlid be a bad idea? cause i think they look great and there is a guy selling them on this site for CHEAP!
