With active bichirs like a delhezi, sen and a polli it might be fun but I would add something that would be in the upper areas.

Definitely saw that answer coming, I just want some action on the top of the tank. Trying to get ideas, personally I’m cool with anything

Would silver dollars work? What about Bala sharks, or maybe a cichlid that swims a lot at the top

For top level I'd recommend a snakeskin gourami. Very nice fish and rather busy too.

In my experience my Senegal bichirs are so busy and a real joy to watch derp around their decor or "hiding" in the floating plants

Sounds amazing, would you say this tops the personality of a Midas? I kinda really want to see a bichir do one of those death roles. With the gourami how many could I have?

Its tough with so many different fish you can keep yet only so many tanks you can have, lol. Been there myself. With this idea of a 75 gallon it limits you but you are on the right path by asking questions first.

Honestly could I keep a JD or GT with one or two Senegal Bichir? That would certainly interest me, maybe a ebjd
